178 Panhard
The Panhard 178 was an automitrailleuse manufactured by Panhard for armoured reconnaissance and used
during World War II.
It is armed with a 25mm SA34 gun and a 7. 5mm Reibel machine gun and inhabited by a crew of 4 men.
About 370 automitrailleuses
were available in May 1940 and 190 were used by the Germans during Operation Barbarossa.
About 1000 units were produced throughout the war.
