Sherman
V/M4A4
The
M4 Sherman is the most produced American tank during WWII. Approximately
50,000 units of all versions were produced between 1942 and 1945.
It
has a crew of 5 men.
It
is armed with a 75mm cannon, 2 Browning 7.62 machine guns and sometimes an
M2 machine gun on the turret.
The M4A4
Sherman is
the fifth variant of the early-generation Medium Tank M4
(Sherman) family.
The M4A4, like other variants of the M4 Sherman family, was part of the
military aid delivered to Italy after World War II ended in 1946 to
provide equipment for the small military command established for only
