Panzerjager I 1940 (Germany, WW2)

The Panzerjäger I was a tank destroyer designed by Germany during World War II. It was developed between 1939 and 1940 at the request of the Waffenamt by the Alkett company.

The Panzerjäger I is built by Alkett on the basis of a Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf chassis. B, whose turret is removed and replaced by a 4.7-cm Pak(t) gun produced by Škoda in annexed Czechoslovakia. A total of 202 examples were produced in two series between 1940 and 1941.
