commonly known as the Panzer
III,
was a medium tank developed
in the 1930s by Germany,
and was used extensively in World War II.
The
Panzer III Ausf A was the first series production Panzer III built and
featured an early style suspension that incorporated 5 road wheels instead
of the usual 6 that the Panzer II became known for.
